Asia Cup 2022: Asia Cup Cricket Qualifiers: Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates are set to fight for the last slot in the Asia Cup. The Asia Cup Qualifiers will start from August 20 to 24. The top teams in the competition will advance to the main tournament. They will be drawn in Group A, which already includes powerhouses India and Pakistan. The Asia Cup is going to start from August 27. The qualifiers will be played in a round-robin format with each team playing a maximum of three matches.

It’s the United Arab Emirates, who start as favorites for a number of reasons. The UAE has experience playing in major tournaments and has a decent squad to run away from any competition. With the main round of the Asia Cup shifting to their home turf, the UAE players will be all the more keen to confirm their squad.
